That's My Girl

Yesterday, at the supermarket checkout:

Checker: Hi!

Jarrah: [glower]

Checker: Are you a princess?

Jarrah: No. I'm a mean witch.

Hee! Then my boys would love her. They, themselves, are mean witches.

LOL!!!!!

Why, oh why, does everyone assume all girls want to be princesses???? Or Disney characters?

Recently some woman asked Sage if she was trying to dress like Ariel. I told her Sage had no idea who that was, and the woman twisted her face up like a prune and looked at me like I was from Mars.

I am going to teach Sage to say she's a mean witch, too!

That's so so great! I think that checker was rude to assume she was a princess--Jarrah probably taught her a valuable lesson.

She's such a great personality. I love that you write all these funny things down--they are too good to forget.

love 'glower'! :)

PS. I get really tired of the princess thing too... I like to tell her that she's my little astrophysicist or something else. Today she was wearing dinosaur pjs so I told her she was my little palaentologist. :) ( By the way, I can't spell palaentologist! :)) lix
