You're Soaking In It

Sam: Jarrah, when you eat a popsicle, you have to clean up the mess afterward. There's red everywhere, even on the carpet.

Jarrah: You need Clorox bleach.

Sam: I don't think so. Clorox bleach would turn the carpet white.

Jarrah: No. (she walks determinedly over to the laundry shelf and points) It works. It's also great for laundry.

Sam: And how did you learn so much about the wonders of Clorox bleach?

Jarrah: From TV. It teaches me things.

Sam: It teaches you things? What kind of things?

Jarrah: Things. Like, how to remove stains.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA. That's fabulous.

Now tell her to do it herself. ;-) (I wouldn't let her do it with bleach, though...maybe a stain stick would be safer. ;-))

Whoa, scary! Ernie does stuff like that all the time, freaks me out every time. I never knew she was listening!

I was buying paper towels and Laura told me to get Bounty. "Why?" I asked. "Because it's the quicker picker upper."

I'm glad to know Jarrah's opinion that TV is educational. Now I don't feel so bad that Laura watched 29 hours of iCarly yesterday. :-)

OMG! At least it is teaching her something useful. I can only imagine what she'd be learning if she watched, say, Gossip Girl! :) lix
