It's Showtime!

Dear Readers, you may remember me mentioning back in late September that I was in a play. I've been blogging every detail of the rehearsal process in my secret theater blog, but I wanted to go public with the news that IT'S ON!

We had two shows over Thanksgiving weekend, and the feeling is all kinds of awesome. Here is the official poster with all the details, which we've scanned here because (hint, hint) maybe you would like to come on down and see it!

And no, that is not me in the photo. Someone actually asked me that. Hello! The show, which is about dating and relationships--has a huge cast, lots of variety, adult content (no nudity--my sister was worried about that) and--if we're lucky--lots of laughs. And you can't beat the price of a ticket!

Click on the image to see the dates, time, location and reservation phone. Drop me a line if you want more info. Six more performances left!

Congrats on a great opening! SO glad things are going well. We won't be able to make it as our little one has put me on bedrest for the last two weeks and until he/she arrives. We are expecting in the next two weeks to welcome him/her into our lives. We'll be thinking of you!

Congrats on the opening!

Thanks for stopping by Bubba Bubbles. You know, I suppose I'm NOT afraid to make things that aren't square...as none of my washcloths EVER come out square! (They truly are the ONLY thing I know how to knit. ;-) My grandfather told me once that knit washcloths were the best in the world, and I was DETERMINED to knit a few for him.)

I was wondering how your opening went! Havne't had a chance to get to your other blog yet. And I AM planning on coming to see you, I just don't know which date is going to work best. I'll let you know.

You're right, Sam. Santa does have an overly bushy face. Do you suggest a trim? New beard?

Are you still breaking a leg?

Do I know you well enough to ask for an update on this blog???!

Get with it, girl! What? Are you busy acting in a play or something? :)

Hi Sam! I'm so glad to hear that everything is going great with your play. I am sad to report that I've decided not to come to California next week. Between the Hanukkah party at Jared's school, holiday party at Josh's school, Josh's 2nd grade torah school class performing at family night Shabbat(the 19th), and the first night of Hanukkah on Sunday I was completely stressed out missing all of that stuff. I hope I get to see you in January if I can work out my trip to be there then. Break a leg and I'll be thinking about you!

xoxox,
