Somebody's Been Watching Too Much Dora

At a light, in the car on the way to Yea-Yea's house today:

Sam: Look, Jarrah. See all those little white things floating over the car? The ones that look like snowflakes? They're actually seeds.

Jarrah: Wha' happened?

Sam: Well, the wind takes them all over so they can grow.

Jarrah: They could land on a tree!

Sam: Probably.

Jarrah: They could land on a car!

Sam: I suppose.

Jarrah: We've got to do something!

Sam: What?

Jarrah: We've got to do something! We've got to help! THIS MUST BE STOPPED!

She sounds like a little genius! I love your stories about her. What a sweetie!

I thought you would think I was a stalker commenting on your blog again. Our ranch is in NM. We're in the process of getting it up and running. It will be completely free to children participating, so we're still working on the funding, insurance, volunteers, etc. It's been quite an adventure. My husband absolutely is loving every day of his new "job." (Does a job have to pay to be a job??!) We are meeting really neat people all the time.

Please don't mind my juvenille writing--I can tell you're in a completely different league than I! After having four children, my mind is mush. (that's my excuse anyhoo.) I'm a caption writer (under pictures!)and that's about it. Oh well. It takes all kinds I suppose. I'll keep checking back because you crack me up. I'm still waiting to use agog. I've been using it on my hubby and he just laughs.

Thanks for the sweet photo comment. I really want to step up my game in that department. My desire is there even if the quality isn't. Currently, my camera and lens is FULL of dust and dirt--I guess that's what happens when you stand around in blowing wind at a dusty ranch.

OK..crazy lady signing off. Talk to you soon. :)

Just heard a fun npr podcast about Dora -- read the story or listen at http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=89531478. (Love my podcasts -- I catch up on them while feeding the baby!) :) Lix

Can she do something about excessive pollen while she's at it? 'Cuz that'd be cool.

That is stinkin' cute! Now I'm disappointed at the lack of reaction in my own boys the other day when we drove through a blizzard of white seeds in De Luz. :)
